Police are seeking a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a woman in Houston.

The suspect is accused of shooting a woman at 3400 Rockyridge around 3:20 p.m., on January 21. Merlyn Yolibeth Perez-Orellana, 24, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene after the suspect shot her as she walked on the sidewalk.

He is described as a Hispanic male in his 30s, about 5-feet, 7-inches tall, with a skinny build. Houston Police said he was unshaven and wearing a zip-up style turquoise coat, blue jeans and black shoes. He was last seen getting into what is believed to be a gold-colored mid-sized sport utility vehicle.
