Okay, world. We get it. Beyonce is not even human. With a record-shattering, unprecedented iTunes debut, a powerhouse marriage made in musical heaven, and a killer bod, she’s pretty much a god among us mere mortals.

Speaking of her body, it’s no wonder the superstar is so in shape: she follows a highly regimented “diet”, if one can call a master cleanse dieting.

Recently, a writer for New York Magazine’s “The Cut” adhered to Beyonce’s liquid diet consisting of cayenne pepper, lemons, and grade B maple syrup for 10 days. The regimen requires you to drink the lemonade concoction nine times a day. The writer lost a shocking 10 pounds in as many days.

Coming off the cleanse, Beyonce followed a strict post-pregnancy diet after giving birth to Blue Ivy. This involved eating egg whites for breakfast, turkey slices with capers for lunch, cucumbers with vinegar and lemon for a snack, and sushi for dinner.

Obviously, this diet isn’t for the faint of heart (or blood sugar).
