The Internet has been going crazy with anticipation for Hip-Hop’s favorite Canadian Drake to drop a new song called “Trophies.” Well, finally the day has arrived and Drake oozes confidence while still detailing some things in his life that have effected him emotionally.

Originally, the track was previewed in the trailer for Drake’s most recent album “Nothing Was The Same.” However, the Hit-Boy, 40, and Hagler produced song didn’t appear on the album. On the song, Drake spits about his parents’ divorce, being responsible for the people in his camp, and the success he created for himself.

The OVO leader raps, “I’m just tryna stay alive and take care of my people/ And they don’t have no award for that/ Trophies.”
