Noon Tuesday was the deadline for toll road scofflaws to pay up on unpaid tolls before the state releases their names to the news media and publishes them on it’s TX DOT and TX TAG web sites.

The primary targets are 28,000 drivers with at least 100 unpaid tolls.

Plus, those who get pulled over will be ticketed and have their cars impounded.

Texas is out more than $27-million-dollars in unpaid tolls.
