The 13th Annual Houston Hot Sauce Festival is next month at the Stafford Center and so-called “chili heads” are coming from all across the country to see who has the hottest hot sauce in town.
The annual event showcases regular folks who love to make and taste different levels of heat in hot sauces and they love to dress the part.
Festival organizer Carole Borg says to embrace your inner ” flame” when you come out.
This year, Martha Martinez and Lanny Griffith will represent sister station News 92 FM, who is an official sponsor of the festival September 21-22.
