Supposedly Dead Woman In China Wakes Up On Way To Coffin

(Undated) — A 101-year-old Chinese woman recently got a sneak peek at her funeral. Orange News reports Peng Xiuhua’s daughters had been caring for her since she’d hurt herself in a fall. She was declared dead after her daughters noticed her body had gone stiff, and they could no longer detect a heartbeat. The daughters reportedly gave their mom a bath and an undertaker dressed her, but just as they were about to place her in a coffin she came back to life. Peng says the ordeal made her feel very lucky — both because she got to see how many people care for her and because she woke up before they took her to the crematorium.
