The Houston FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the armed gunman who robbed the Comerica Bank located at 200 Gulfgate Mall in Houston Wednesday afternoon.

The FBI offers details of the robbery: “At approximately 3:35p.m., the man entered the bank and approached the teller counter. The robber handed the teller a threatening note which demanded money. Then he pulled out a pistol and showed it to the teller. The teller gave the gunman some cash. He was last seen leaving the area in a black Chevrolet sedan with tinted windows. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.”

The suspect is described as a black male who stands approximately 5’6” – 5’8”. He weighs about 150 pounds and sported a light mustache and goatee during the robbery. He also wore a white T-shirt, black hat, and black sunglasses.

Anyone with information about this suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477), or the Houston office of the FBI at 713-693-5000. Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the charging and arrest of this bank robbery suspect.
