(Los Angeles, CA) — The protective mask worn by Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant during the season has been auctioned off for just over 67-thousand dollars. Proceeds from the eBay auction that ended yesterday will go to the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation’s Youth Homelessness Initiative. Bryant wore the mask for eleven games after he broke his nose during the All-Star Game. He autographed the mask before putting it up for sale.
