(Undated) — President Obama’s Al Green moment has become a ringtone. At a campaign appearance last week the president performed a bit of Green’s hit “Let’s Stay Together.”
The Obama campaign is tapping into the popularity of the moment and making the snippet available as a free download for both iPhones and other smartphones. Green was at the event, which took place in New York at Harlem’s legendary Apollo Theater. Afterwards, the R&B star praised Obama’s vocals, saying the president was “terrific” and that he “nailed it.” The Obama “Let’s Stay Together” ringtone is posted at BarackObama.com/ringtone.
