(Chicago, IL) — A Chicago woman is charged with misdemeanor domestic battery after pelting her husband with cupcakes. Police say a verbal argument in Brighton Park escalated into a battering of baked goods. The man told officers he feared for his safety. The woman is being held on ten-thousand dollars bond. It isn’t the first time the couple have had issues. The alleged victim has been arrested three times on domestic battery or battery charges. All three cases had been dismissed.
