HOUSTON – The Houston Rockets have once again made a splash at the NBA Trade Deadline.
11 Sports has confirmed that the team has traded veteran forward Shane Battier to the Memphis Grizzlies and point guard Aaron Brooks to the Phoenix Suns.
In return, the Rockets get center Hasheem Thabeet and a first round draft pick from the Grizzlies. From the Suns, Houston will also get a first round pick along with point guard Goran Dragic.
11 Sports has also learned that rookie guard Ish Smith is included in the deal with Memphis.
