HOUSTON – Put another blanket on the bed and another log on the fire because temperatures will dip into the 20s for much of the area Tuesday night.
A freeze warning will be in effect from midnight to 9 a.m. Wednesday for the entire 11 News viewing area, including coastal counties.
“We’ll struggle to see those temperatures climb out of the mid-40s,” 11 News Chief Meteorologist Gene Norman said. “Wednesday night into early Thursday, it’s not out of the question, we might see a couple of flurries, but I don’t think anything will stick.”
Lows will remain in the mid-to upper 20s through the end of the work week for most areas north of I-10.

Tuesday kicked off with lows in the mid-30s and highs are expected to climb to the mid-to upper 40s, but a continuous breeze mean the wind chill to make it feel like it is 30 degrees all day.
Lows will remain in the mid-to upper 20s through the end of the work week.
The weekend is expected to bring warmer weather as high temps rise to the 60s. A 30-percent chance for showers is also on the radar for the weekend.
