BAYTOWN, Texas — Two teenagers’ bodies were found inside a burning home Sunday, and police don’t think their deaths were accidental, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Baytown firefighters put out flames at a home on Lloyd Drive near Garth Road at about 7 a.m. When crews went inside, they found the bodies. Relatives identified the teens as Chelsy Lang and her cousin, Ashley Johnson.

Police said they found evidence that the fire was intentionally set.”There was some type of struggle in a separate room from where the bodies are,” Lt. Eric Freed said. “That makes us think that foul play was involved.”

Lang was a junior at Lee High School. She was active in the theater department.”She was a real good person, fun to be with,” classmate Chad Promise said. “She was funny, always had you laughing.”Goose Creek Independent School District officials said counselors would be at the school to help the students deal with the deaths.

Police have not released a possible motive for the killing.
