The late “King of Pop” is heading to DVD retailers all across the country. Beginning today, Michael Jackson fans can purchase the singer’s hit documentary, “This Is It.” The DVD release will feature an hour of unseen footage as well as two documentaries that discuss the making of the film. Specials about dancer auditions, Jackson’s wardrobe, and “Memories of Michael” are also included. Directed by Kenny Ortega, “This Is It” chronicles Michael Jackson’s preparations for his 50-show stay at London’s O2 Arena. The shows were scheduled to begin last July, just weeks after the singer unexpectedly died from cardiac arrest.

“This Is It” arrived in theaters for a limited two-week run on October 28th. Due to the film’s incredible popularity, it was extended through the Thanksgiving weekend. “This Is It” went on to gross more than 250-million-dollars worldwide.
