(Galveston County, TX) — Hitchcock School Board members in Galveston County will address a speech to students by a fellow board member that discussed sex. Board Member Shirley Price was apparently supposed to give a motivational speech about the TAKS test to the sixth and eighth grade students at Crosby Middle School, when she began talking about oral and anal sex. Many parents later called school officials to complain. Hitchcock ISD officials sent a letter of apology to the parents. There’s no word on what, if any, disciplinary actions Price could face.
