A Boca Raton man called 911 to say his 33-year-old wife, who was 8 ½ months pregnant, was sitting on the toilet when she unexpectedly gave birth.
Boca Raton police released the 911 call Wednesday.

Lilibeth Vargas was the 911 dispatcher who talked Bryan Drowos through the birth of his daughter, Lila, on Sept. 1.
“She thought she had to go to the bathroom, and it looks like the baby’s coming out,” Drowos said in the 911 call.
Drowos’ wife, Joanna, gave birth to the baby while Vargas was on the phone, and she can be heard talking him through what to do next until paramedics arrived.
The family met Vargas for the first time Wednesday.
