A beer inspired by the woman who tried to blackmail University of Louisville men’s basketball coach Rick Pitino has been awarded a blue ribbon at the Kentucky State Fair. Called Blackmail Ale, the Karen Sypher-inspired brew snagged the top prize in the home brew category, humor/satirical division. The label on Blackmail Ale reads “0 percent Dignity by Volume.”
