YSL’s RICO Trial Takes A Turn As A Corrections Officer Gets Charged!

Another day, another wild development in the YSL Rico case.
A former Fulton County corrections officer, Karmen Bailey, has been charged with accepting bribes to deliver drugs and contraband to inmates, including one of Young Thug’s defendants, Marquavious Huey.
Bailey faces multiple charges related to the alleged scheme.
The YSL RICO Trial, which has been ongoing since November 2023, has set a new record for the most motions for mistrial filed by defense lawyers, 45 in total, none of which have been granted.
Judge Paige Reese Whitaker criticized the prosecution for their presentation of the case against Young Thug, expressing frustration with their tactics during the trial. Despite the drama, Whitaker ultimately denied the latest motion for mistrial.
During the trial’s livestream, Whitaker said: “I don’t want to malign the prosecutor standing in front of me right now, so I’m not going to say the possible things it could be. But it is baffling to me that somebody with the number of years of experience that you have, time after time after time, continues to seemingly and purposefully hide the ball to the extent you possibly can, for as long as you possibly can.”
