According to officials the $1 million ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers: 24-46-49-62-66 but didn’t match the gold Mega Ball number, which was 7.
The winning ticket was purchased at the All-Season Food, located at 3411 Antoine Drive in Houston and will expire on September 15. The winner has until then to get their earnings or they can kiss the million goodbye.
Unclaimed prizes revert to the state for programs authorized by the Texas Legislature, according to the Texas Lottery Commission. In other words, the cash will be placed in programs, such as the Foundation School Fund and Fund for Veterans’ Assistance.
