J Mac has had the respect of the Houston hip-hop community for over a decade. First as the easygoing sidekick to urban radio legend Madd Hatta on the award-winning, drive-time Madd Hatta Show/W J Mac and now as a crucial member of the Madd Hatta Morning Show team on Houston’s KBXX 97.9 The Box. Rapper, comedian, producer, philanthropist and above all a businessman, Mac got to where he is the old-fashioned way, long nights and days in the studio and the streets, sometimes going to bed hungry and often times without pay.
