Chris Brown is free from police custody in Paris after being accused of sexually assaulting a 24-year-old model. Authorites didn’t charge Brown with any crime and according to those familiar with French police, if they let you go without a charge, it’s more than likely you didn’t do anything wrong.

The Madd Hatta Morning show weighed in on Brown’s plans to sue his accuser for defamation and Hatta agreed with his decision.

“I think it’s the right move,” Hatta says. “If somebody say they were raped and you did not rape them, especially if again, Chris Brown … the way he gets in trouble, I think he’s doing the right thing in suing this person. I’m interested to find out how this person got to be in the same vicinity as Chris Brown and those two other people. I wonder how this person got that close to say that a person like Chris Brown raped them. Obviously he’s not with people who are protecting him so to speak, keeping him away from certain people. Maybe I’m looking at it the wrong way but for all the trouble Chris has been in, you gotta have some handlers that make sure certain people don’t get close.”
