Kim Kardashian West is taking her efforts for criminal justice reform to a new level, according to husband Kanye West.

According to ExtraTV, West told the outlet that Kim “is in law school now” after being asked about her latest visit to the White House. “That’s all we focus on, helping people that don’t have a voice, breaking down the class systems,” he added.

“There’s two million African Americans incarcerated now… We’re going to get people out, period… It’s extremely serious to us,” he said. Aside from her famous father being an attorney for the most famous legal trial of the 1990s, Kardashian West has said on more than a few occasions that she has thought about going to law school.

In a 2016 interview with Wonderland, Kardashian West said she had hopes of going to law school. “If things slow down and I had time, I really want to go to law school,” she says. “Just something I can do in my older age,” she said.

In June, Kardashian West’s visit to the White House prompted an audience with the President, which led to the release of 63-year-old Alice Marie Johnson, a first-time non-violent drug offender who was sentenced to life without parole in 1996.
