Authorities have released the names of two of three men shot to death during an apparent drug-related robbery in west Houston earlier this week.

The three men were fatally shot at the Idlewood condominium complex, in the 10000 block of West Park, early Monday after returning from a road trip with a rental vehicle used to tranport marijuana to Houston

Killed were Balraj Dulai Singh, 30, who lived in the condo where the shooting occurred, and Justin Colby Eaton, 27, of Houston. Both were shot several times and died at the scene, police said.

The identity of the third man, who was shot and later died at an area hospital, has not been released.

According to investigators, as Singh, Eaton and the third man entered Singh’s condo, two other men approached them. One of them pulled out a gun and fired at the the trio inside the unit.

The two men then are believed to have sped away in a 1990s, gray four-door Chevrolet Suburban being driven by an accomplice. They took an unknown amount of marijuana from the victims.

Police said it appeared the attackers had been waiting in the parking lot for Singh and the others to arrive. No description of the attackers was available.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Houston Police Department Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
