I don’t know when it exactly happened but Tobe Nwigwe became a serious thing around the time his #GetTWISTEDSundays series on Sundays started gaining traction on Instagram. Or when he proposed to his wife, Fat, in an 11-minute moment that exists on the Internet because it’s absolutely breathtaking. Or the time he ripped a freestyle to shreds on Sway Calloway’s radio show. No matter how many dope things Tobe does with The Originals (he, Fat and Nell), he’ll always be recognized as “on.”
Because Dave Chappelle, Bomani Jones and Erykah Badu have all bought in to the concept and pure fact that Tobe Nwigwe is dope as hell. So, he made a song about it. And at the end of the video, you can see him FaceTiming Dave Chappelle himself. And he and Fat both shocked as hell that it is even happening.
