Kendrick Lamar‘s DAMN was the biggest selling rap album of 2017 and swept all of the rap categories it was nominated in at the 60th GRAMMY Awards this past January. Now we have to add a new accolade to it as it is now the first recording that is not a classical or jazz album to win the Pulitzer Prize for Music.
Lamar is the first rapper ever to win the award. Now you have to call him Pulitzer Prize winner Kendrick Lamar before The Champions tour when it comes to Houston next month! Congrats K Dot!
