This segment of Access Houston we welcome, from the Houston Community College, Dr. Michael Edwards, Debra McGaughey, Dr. Carolyn Davis, and special guest the Rev. Jesse Jackson. Rev. Jackson will be the keynote speaker at HCC Black History Scholarship Gala. They talk about importance of education, the Trump administration, community college being free, and a host of other issues.
The second conversation we have Houston native and film maker Courtney Glaude, who’s film BLINK will be in AMC theaters March 2nd-9th, to talk about the psychology of domestic violence and how it effects everyone involved. As well as, how the process from the film will go to PADV – Partnership Against Domestic Violence.
