We are currently painfully trying to make it through season 8 of Love and Hip-Hop NY but there is some relieve coming next year. Mona Scott Young takes her prized reality franchise to streets of Miami and it looks like it’s gonna be hotter than temperatures Miami is known for.
In the super trailer for the new show, we meet the cast members, Miami hip-hop legends Trina and Trick Daddy and his wife Joy Young who is also Trina’s cousin. Trina is currently on the verge of releasing her next album but has some family issues to deal with. Trina’s cousin Joy wants out of her marriage with Trick but he doesn’t want to grant her the divorce. Now Trina might have no choice but to get in the middle of the beef going on with Trick and her cousin Joy.
We also meet Latin sensation Amara La Negra, she hopes to crossover and make it big in the American music and enlists the help of producer Young Hollywood. Everything seems cool but he insists that she should switch her look and ditch the afro but that doesn’t sit well with her at all. She confides in her friend and fellow artist Veronica Vega, the two clash after Vega decides to link up with Young Hollywood testing their friendship.
Maybach Music veteran Gunplay and his girlfriend Keyara also join the ratchet party. Gunplay is ready to make his return to the music scene. He has one problem though and that’s being a one-woman man, his relationship is tested when he falls a local stripper.
Prince the promoter demands respect in the industry and wants to be on top of the Miami nightlife industry but his competition DJ Michelle Pooch is in the way. Celebrity stylist Jojo Zarur is used to having it all but now that her mother and father are going through a bitter divorce it’s making her life extremely hard. Things get even more complicated when her dad decides to make her the heiress.
Flavor of Love veteran Shay “Bucky” Johnson returns and is looking for love in the 305,, she seems to have found it in Pleasure P. Yup that’s right Pretty Ricky’s lead singer who is currently looking to deliver one more album and tour for their fans. Things get a bit crazy when one of the members of the group calls Shay a ho and on top of that Pleasure literally has someone on the side.
Bobby Lyte is a gay rapper who is looking to make it in the industry and he is also Trina’s cousin at all. He always had the support of his boyfriend Jeffrey but things quickly fall apart when he finds out Jeffrey has been cheating on him.
Ohhhhhhhh we cannot wait for this.
