Yesterday after the story SI story was posted online, the Carolina Panthers owner’s allegations of workplace misconduct, Jerry Richardson announced that he was selling the Panthers team.
After Richardson’s news came out, some important people like Diddy and Colin Kaepernick, etc…came forth as potential buyers, but nothing official has been made.

Diddy started with his Instagram video saying, “Attention to the Carolina PANTHERS!! ATTENTION NFL! This is a chance to make  history!!! There are NO AFRICAN AMERICAN MAJORITY OWNERS IN THE NFL!!!! I WOULD LIKE TO BUY THE CAROLINA PANTHERS!!! Let’s GOOOOOOO!!!!! Spread the world. Tell the world! No joke.”
After that Diddy hit up Twitter with tweets saying, “I would like to buy the . Spread the world. Retweet!” and “There are no majority African American NFL owners. Let’s make history.”
Quickly after Diddy’s tweets, a couple of athletes tweeted a response too.
Steph Curry tweeted saying, “I want in!” and then the Philadelphia Eagles Safety, Malcolm Jenkins tweet, “This needs to happen!… for so many reasons. For the culture, the betterment of the @NFL,  and the pure entertainment that is guaranteed to be EPIC! #NewOwnership.
We’ll have to wait to see how it plays out.
