The 13-year old runaway girl from Katy, Texas might actually be a victim of human trafficking.
The teen was reported missing by her parents last weekend after they realized she had boarded a bus out of town in order to meet a 29-year old man she met last year.
Her father said, “We found a note in her room. She called the guy ‘Daddy’ and herself ‘baby girl.’ Her father said that the note read, “over and over again down this sheet of paper, ‘Daddy owns my body and my soul.’
The girl’s parents said that they discovered their 13-year old was sending lewd and graphic images and messages for over a year by using her phone and those covert messaging apps and although they took her phone away, the parents found out on Saturday that she was still communicating with this man.
A friend told the parents that the teen had a secret phone and for months was using it at school to communicate with the 29-year old.
On Friday, the kid mislead and lied to a woman to buy her a bus ticket out town to Laredo where she walked over to Nuevo Laredo and somehow made her way to Mexico City.
The man’s behavior can be considered “classic signs” of grooming for sex trade.
