Over the weekend, Colin Kaepernick’s lawyer, Mark Geragos guess starred on Adam Carolla’s podcast “Reasonable Doubt” where at some point he touched on his client Colin Kaepernick and the teams who haven’t signed him.
Kaepernick’s lawyer was specific about two NFL teams that have decided not to sign Kaepernick even though they have obvious quarterback issues. Geragos was referring to the Houston Texans and the Denver Broncos and both of the quarterbacks, Tom Savage and Brock Osweiler, each struggled throughout their games that later resulted in losses.

“Anybody who watched the Houston Texans game or Denver– did you watch the Denver game– I mean, they need a quarterback,” Geragos said on his, “Reasonable Doubt” podcast.
Geragos is totally bewildered why the Texans never contacted his client after DeShaun Watson went out with a season-ending injury. He continued to touch on what took place with the Texans quarterback situation.
Geragos said that instead of contacting Kaepernick, the Texans signed Matt McGloin and quickly released McGloin and then signed Josh Johnson and still started Savage.
Geragos pointed out the obvious by saying that it could redeem the Texans team owner Bob McNair after his October comment “We can’t have the inmates running the prison.”
“I just don’t understand the Texans,” Gergaos said. “If I’m Bob McNair, and maybe I’m addled and maybe I’m sick, I just don’t know. I mean, I’ll find out when I do his deposition, but if I’m Bob McNair, and I’ve already misspoken and my players want to come and beat the crap out of me, I think that somebody should be whispering in my ear, ‘Sign Kap, sign Kap,’ Because that can redeem you, I would think, just from a public relations standpoint.”
Kaepernick’s lawyer can depose any of the owners and directly ask them why they didn’t sign his client.
He said, “I have to say, I just thought it was a no-brainer that somebody would do that right thing and sign him, and the fact that they haven’t, thank you very much. They just made this case even stronger.”
Geragos has plans to request a deposition with Bob McNair, possibly Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti, Seahawks owner Paul Allen, Titans owner and Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones.
Earlier this month, the Ravens publicly considered Kaepernick, the Seahawks met with Kaepernick, the Titans did not contact Kaepernick.
Today Kap was in the news as one of GQ’s top people. He made GQ’s 2017 Citizen of the Year.
What will these owners reasons be.. the why did you not consider quarterback Colin Kaepernick to take your team to playoff question.
