In the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, Puerto Rico is still in need of a lot of help thankfully people are coming together to finally give them the necessary assistance they need.
The news has hit that American Rapper Pitbull and billionaire Mark Cuban have sent their private planes to help out people in need.

Pitbull sent his plane to transport cancer patients from Puerto Rico to the Mainland so they could receive the chemo treatments.
On Tuesday, PR Congresswoman Jennifer Gonzales tweeted showing how grateful she was for the help by saying, “Gracias al cantante @pitbull x prestar avión privado para trasladar pacientes de cáncer de PR a USA para q puedan tomar quimio @DeptSaludPR” when translated to say, Thank you Pitbull for lending your private plane to move cancer patients from PR to USA so that they can get chemo.
In an interview with New York Daily News on Tuesday, Pitbull said, “Thank God we’re blessed to help. Just doing my part.”
Homes in Puerto Rico are still without power or phone service and contacting someone is still difficult and the restoration could take months too.
The NBA’s Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has also contributed by lending his private jet to the team’s guard, J.J. Barea, a Puerto Rican native.
“They loaded up a bunch of stuff, supplies, etc. to take over to Puerto Rico, and they’re going to turn around and come back,” coach Rick Carlisle told ESPN. “He’s going to take his mom and grandmother back with him, and my understand is his dad is going to stay over there and slug it out with all the recovery efforts.”
Barea immediately started a fundraiser to help PR and it’s already surpassed $100,000.
On September 20, Hurricane Maria left nearly all the 3.4 million residents without power, destroying structures to the island that had already been hit by Hurricane Irma weeks before.
