In his newly released video for his song “Whiskey Eyes,” French Montana is showing his love in a tribute song that goes out to the late rapper Chinx.
Chinx was part of French Montana’s Coke Boys Records and did appearances on the mix tapes for the Coke Boys and the Cocaine Riot. In 2015, Chinx was gunned down  by an unknown assailant in a drive-by shooting in Jamaica Queens.
In his tribute video to Chinx, French is telling their hardship story of their success in the business.

He’s quick to show us a tribute wall that is made entirely of Chinx’s throwback pictures along with lit candles in front of them.
The video also has a freestyle artist that is doing a fresh canvas painting that will later turn out to be a large portrait of Chinx’s face.
Throughout the entire video we are given imagines from the tribute wall with Chinx’s pictures to French and a group of men standing on a stoop while French is rapping.
One of the people that French included in his video is Chinx’s young son and during the frame with the stoop French raps the lyric, “My n**ga Chinx’s son became my own son” while the camera zooms in on Chinx’s little boy.
The Whiskey Eyes track is the first released song on his Jungle Rules album.
Here are a few other tracks from his Jungle Rules album: Unforgettable, Trippin, A Lie, Jump, Hotel Bathroom, Bring Dem Things…
