The Go DJ Awards 2017 is getting bigger and better for its 4th annual celebration!

CEO Craig Williams of the Go DJ Global Coalition, announced the 4th Annual Go DJ Awards will take place on Monday, August 7th at MATCH Midtown Arts & Theater Center Houston.

Recognized as Houston’s largest awards show, the event attracts thousands of music lovers, the hottest new names in hip hop and major national brands seeking increased visibility and exposure and unique opportunities to reach affluent urban audiences.

MATCH provides a home for a broad spectrum of Houston’s arts organizations, and create an accessible destination that will bring Houstonians together to enjoy art and enliven a neighborhood. Houston is a sprawling metropolis that has continued to grow as a cultural and creative melting pot with a strong art community: however, there is currently no neighborhood, “home,” nor district to bring smaller artistic groups together to provide easy access for patrons. The MATCH will fill this void in the Houston arts community by developing an accessible, centralized hub of creativity that will bring together an array of artists and art lovers from across the region’s diverse cultural, economic, and geographic communities.

Last year’s event, which sold out in record time, featured performances by VH1 LOVE & HIP HOP star Johnnie Blaze, Dj Xo and appearances by platinum-selling artist Kirko Bangz, Paul Wall, Slim Thug, Zro, Chedda Da Connect, J Prince Sr. and more. Sponsors and media partners included the Houston Forward Times, 97.9 The Box, Fox 26- Isiah’s Factor, and This Is It Soul Food among others. The Mayor of Houston Sylvester Tuner presented the Go Dj Awards with a PROCLAMATION and it’s own DAY. Local media and community leaders honored during the event included Houston Forward Times publisher and Journalist Jeffrey Boney, President of Franklin Beauty School Ron Jemison Jr, and Fox 26 news reporter Isiah Carey.

The event trended across Instagram and Twitter and was featured by dozens of media outlets, including the  Houston Chronicle, 97.9 The Box, 2 Loud Magazine, Empower Magazine, Rolling Out Magazine, Houston Style Magazine and Hip Hop Weekly Magazine and a ongoing list of Houston Media Outlets. The expansive coverage totaled over $1,000,000 in media value for featured talent, honorees and event sponsors.

Go DJ Awards sponsors have the unique opportunity to have unparalleled access to local and national entertainers, pillars of the community and the media. By providing unique networking opportunities to meet the best and brightest, sponsors receive ROI in the form of both brand recognition and face-to-face opportunities with a diverse and affluent demographic.”

Sponsorship levels for the 4th Annual Go DJ Awards range from $500, to $5,000. Sponsorship benefits include Stage presence, electronic marketing to 1,000,000 plus people, red carpet celebrity photo opportunities, mention in press release as allowed , access to walk the red carpet, promotional vendor tables and company branding on official step and repeat.
