Santa is coming back to town, and he’ll be rocking his running shorts again this year! Beat the heat in a fun holiday spirited event with The Salvation Army of Greater Houston, where your registration will directly benefit their services and programs.

The second Annual Christmas in July 5K is set for Saturday, July 8, 2017 at The Salvation Army Greater Houston Area Command, located at 1500 Austin Street in Downtown Houston. The 5K is $35 and the Kids K is $15. Every 5K registration includes a 2017 Christmas in July 5K race bib, a festive tee, free fundraising page, finisher’s medal, and entry into the post-race party. Kids will also receive a fun participant medal for completing the Kids K!

Competitive runners are invited to compete in the timed event. Awards will be presented to overall 1st male/female 1st place winners and for 10-year age groups male/female 1st place.

Proceeds will benefit the programs and services offered year-round at The Salvation Army of Greater Houston, which include four homeless shelters, six corps community centers, two social services offices, two senior affordable living apartment complexes, a college preparatory program, emergency disaster services, and more.
