The Florida man Richard Patterson was just found not guilty of second degree murder of his girlfriend Francisca Marquinez who died in 2015, according to the Sun Sentinel.
Patterson claims that his girlfriend died while choking during oral sex, but the medical examiner cannot back up Patterson’s claims saying that it was unlikely.

According to the Sun Sentienl, she was, “last seen by someone other than Patterson on Oct. 25th” and her body was discovered Oct. 28th. The investigators said that when they arrived her face, neck and arms were too badly discolored and because of that the medical examiner could not rule a cause of death on Francisca.
During the trial, Patterson and his attorney Ken Padowitz told the court that they wanted to show his penis to the jury in order to prove their defense of why she died while giving him oral sex.
“That’s not the way she died,” defense lawyer Ken Padowitz said. “But that’s the way Richard Patterson thought she died.”
So after five hours of deliberating, the jury came back with the not guilty verdict and now, Patterson is not face life in prison for the death and murder of his girlfriend.
