TMZ Sports is reporting that 51-years old Michael Irvin is under investigation after a Florida woman filed charges against him for sexual assault.
A 27-year old says she met Irvin on March 21 and went back with him to his hotel room where she felt sick at some point… the last thing she remembers is fighting him off.

The Florida lady is saying that she woke up the next morning with Irvin saying that he was checking out without her. The lady took an Uber home where she called 911 around 7:30 A.M.
The lady told the cops that she thought that she was drugged and raped by Irvin and she was advised to go get a swab and a blood test. She claims that she also sent a text message to Irvin asking him if they had sex and he responded saying that he wouldn’t hurt her.
Michael Irvin told a different story then the 27-year old. Irvin said that he was at a bar with a group of people that included this woman until 4:30 A.M. on March 21.
Irvin said that he returned to his hotel and the woman followed him along with another male too. Irvin reports that he had an early flight that morning and was only in his hotel room for 15 minutes and during that time he had no sexual contact with the woman.
Irvin said that the woman did text him later that day saying, “Come for a facial when you get back to Ft. Lauderdale.”
Irvin’s lawyer, Larry Friedman, told TMZ Sports, “Michael was in Ft. Lauderdale visiting his nieces and nephews at a track meet. He was also visiting his 90-year old aunt and attending her birthday party. He was blindsided by news of these allegations.”
And his lawyer continued saying, “The allegations are completely false. In the few hours since w’ve learned about them we’ve already discovered many red flags about this young woman’s background and the allegations she made against Michael. Even the complaint that she made specifically says she does not recall the events that took place. She was very drunk that night. Nothing happened and there was no assault.”
