A Chicago girl decided that she wanted her 6-year old birthday party to be expressed by feeding the homeless.
Armani Crews turned 6-years old on March 5 and she told her parents for “a few months” that she wanted to feed the homeless people in her area. Her mother Artesha Crews said that she didn’t think her daughter was serious and that she thought “she was joking” about it.
“I said, ‘OK, we’ll make some sandwiches,’ to which Armani said, ‘No. I want the same thing we’d have at my birthday party,'” her mother recalled.

They questioned little Armani again and told her that if they did this then she wouldn’t get a present…. Armani was insistent and wanted to feed the homeless.
The family spent $300 on food to deliver to homeless people… they had chicken, fish, spaghetti, corn, green beans, mashed potatoes, rolls cake, cookies fruit and water.
And that was it because Armani’s mom mentioned it at their church and people in their congregation decided to make care packages too.
The packages were made up of a travel-sized toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, hand sanitizer and a snack like a granola bar.
There’s no surprise that hear that Armani’s birthday was a success when the family fed 125 people. She said in a statement to ABC News, “It was nice to be nice.”
Her mom continued with saying, “She was excited. She was happy. Everybody was fed. … One of the gentleman said he hadn’t had a hot meal in a long time.”
After their success, Armani was quick to say she wanted to do it again and her mom confirmed that will happen.
She said, that they will return to the park “within the next couple of weeks.”
