At The Grand Marshall Ball, R&B group Jagged Edge headlined the party while NFL star Nick Fairley was the Grand Marshall. The Grand Marshall Ball is said to be one of the biggest parties on the Gulf Coast the week before Fat Tuesday… this year it was held on Feb. 24th in Mobile, Alabama.
It went down during Jagged Edge’s performance when the New Orleans Saints’ Defensive Tackle, Nick Fairley, decided to jumped on stage without no warning.
Standing at 6’4″, 300 pounds he wasn’t going anywhere even though the security was trying to peacefully remove him.
At some point the band stopped performing and had to deal one on one with Fairley and asking him to get off the stage.
At one point the band even told him, “It’s not about you” and Fairley still remained on stage.
The crowd attending the Ball were yelling at Fairley to get off the stage too and at another point, Jagged Edge said, “You want the mic? You can have this show my n***a!” and get your “Big A**” off the stage.
On Thursday, Nick Fairley re-signed his contract with the Saints for 4-year contract worth $30 million.
