It looks like VY was serious about getting back into the game because reports are out that he’s “finalizing his contract” with the Canadian Football League’s Saskatchewan Roughriders.
It hasn’t even been a month since the news came out that Vince wanted to get back into the NFL after her had announced retirement in 2014.
Since that 2014 retirement the Saskatchewan said they kept Vince on their “negotiation list” just in case he decided to play again.
Since the team just traded their starting qb Darian Durant and re-signed Kevin Glenn, 37, to the position. If Vince Young joins the mix then it looks like he and Kevin will be competing for the starting quarter back job.
The Roughriders resumes playing for pre-season in June and their season starts in July and they will be playing in their new Mosaic Stadium.
