TMZ caught up with the Houston Texans defensive end Jadeveon Clowney in Las Vegas the other day.
Clowney was asked, “If a NFL player joined the UFC, who would really tear it up?”
Clowney came back with the most obvious response, “Probably me! Yeah!”
It turns out that in his high school days, Clowney was State Champ in wrestling.
They asked Clowney if he still believed in his quarterback Brock Osweiler… he said, “Always! No Matter what, I’m ridin’. I’m ridin’. I’m a Texans,I’m ridin’.”
Of course when they said that the owner, Bob McNair, was considering changing the quarterbacks around, Clowney said, “I don’t matter what he consider, I’m just a player. I’m riding’ with Osweiler.”
We know that Osweiler was signed with the biggest quarterback contract at $72 million for last season.
Here is Osweiler’s contract breakdown as listed on Spotrac.com:

“Brock Osweiler signed a 4 year, $72,000,000 contract with the Houston Texans, including a $12,000,000 signing bonus, $37,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $18,000,000. In 2017, Osweiler will earn a base salary of $16,000,000. Osweiler has a cap hit of $19,000,000 while his dead money value is $25,000,000”

We’ll just have to wait and see how Clowney and Osweiler play this coming season…
