Trump’s order to Ban Muslims from entering the country has raised a lot of criticism among a large variety of people around.
Through his spokesman, Kevin Lewis, our former President, Barack Obama released his first statement since his term officially ended on January 20th.

The statement  that was released this morning was done by Kevin Lewis about the Muslims ban protesting that is going on around the country.
In his statement the spokesman tells us that Obama is saying, “American values are at stake.” and ells us that he disagrees with any discriminating against groups of religion or faith.
Here is the full statement the spokesman gave us:

“Citizens exercising their Constitutional right to assemble, organize and have their voices heard by their elected officials is exactly what we expect to see when American valves are at stake.”

It’s not usual tradition that a president speaks out against their successor regarding issues, but these issue are “considered core values.”
They stated, “is heartened by the level of engagement taking place in communities around the country.”

“With regard to comparisons to President Obama’s foreign policy decisions, as we’ve heard before, the president fundamentally disagrees with the notion of discriminating against individuals because of their faith or religion.”

We’ll have to see if Trump tweets out about this one too.
