In New Orleans, the Falcons and Saints had a different take on the National Anthem. Following the “Star-Spangled Banner,” both teams walked out to mid-filed, formed a large circle and joined hands. ESPN reports that Saints coach Sean Payton had the idea and sought out Falcons coach Dan Quinn last week. Both agreed it was a good way to join protests against racial injustice in America, which San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick started about a month ago.
