The Chicago Bears wide receiver coach said that their Bears wide receiver Kevin White reminds him of his former University of Miami’s Andre Johnson and Reggie Wayne.
Coach Curtis Johnson was the WR coach from 1996 through 2005,  when Andre Johnson and Reggie Wayne were on the team where he was able to coach them both.

In 2006, the coach made his way to the New Orleans Saints where he stayed there until 2011. He finally made his way in 2016, to the Chicago Bears.
It was during the class of 2015, where Kevin White was considered one of the top two wide receives and was drafted by the Bears at No. 7 overall.
White was signed with the Bears for a four-year, $15 million contract and that’s including a $10 million signing bonus.
Unfortunately, during his rookie year, White suffered an off-season he received a shin injury that considered minor at the time.
His injury kept him out of training camp for 11 practices and the season opener too. Another unfortunately, after returning, the GM announced in August 2015, that he has suffered a stress fracture to his shin.
Here are the comparisons between White and Johnson… White stands at 6-foot-3, 215 pounds.
He ran the 40-yard dash in 4:35 seconds at the NFL combine, whereas Andre Johnson  is 6-foot-2, 230 pounds and he ran the 40 in 4:41 seconds.

Coach Johnson said, “[White] has hands similar to Reggie Wayne. So he was one of those guys where when you looked at the draft and watched televise, you say this guy is going to be a bona fide player.”
Reggie Wayne hands… they caught 1,070 passes and 82 touchdowns in 14 seasons.
