Last night’s 2016 Billboard Music Awards honored the life of Prince with a special tribute by Madonna.
Donning a metallic purple suit with ruffled sleeves, Madonna gave a somber rendition of “Nothing Compares 2 U” in front of a montage of memorable images of the late singer. When the band cut to instrumentals for the immortalized “Purple Rain” out popped Stevie Wonder, led onstage by Madonna.
