Yesterday, we reported that Kesha was no longer allowed to perform at the Billboard Music Awards after Dr. Luke‘s label Kemosabe Records rescinded their approval. Well it looks like the label has come to their senses and is allowing the “Tik-Tok” singer to perform.

Kemosabe Records released an official statement regarding matter that states,

“Kesha’s performance on the Billboard Music Awards was always approved, in good faith. Approval was only suspended when Kemosabe learned Kesha was to use the performance as a platform to discuss the litigation. Now that Kemosabe has obtained assurances, that it is relying upon, from Kesha, her representatives and Dick Clark Productions that neither Kesha nor her supporters will use the performance as such a platform, the approval has been restored.”

Kesha responded to the news with the following post on Instagram.

It’s great that Kesha’s label was willing to come to an agreement and allow the singer to perform even of it is a shame approval was rescinded in the first place. The BBMAs will be airing May 22, on ABC at 8 p.m. E.T.. Will you be tuning into the Billboard Music Awards this Sunday?
