Fight Hub TV caught up with boxing trainer, Freddie Roach the other day and they got an ear full about Conor McGregor.
During his interview Roach said that he had received a phone call, “They asked if I’d train McGregor this morning.”
You can only presume that the person on the other end of that call was someone from McGregor’s camp.
Road said, “I’ll help him, I like helping people. I’m not going to train him to fight Mayweather. I’d have to train him for at least 3 years to get him ready for Mayweather.”
In regards to McGregor’s boxing talent, Roach said, “He’s a little green, come on. I mean he’s good at MMA… but boxing? Hell no.”
It’s not if they’re going to fight, but it’s starting to looking like when are they’re going to fight.
