Just weeks after having the “Damn, Daniel” dudes and DJ Khaled on her show, Ellen DeGeneres welcomed her most inspiring guest yet.
On March 15’s episode, Ellen interviewed Quincy Jones, a 32-year-old comic who was diagnosed with cancer in July and had dreams of doing a stand-up special. He revealed that in order to pursue his passion, he moved from Seattle to Los Angeles and performed an estimated 1,000 stand-up shows while doing chemotherapy. His friends even started a Kickstarter campaign so that he could raise the money to record a special.
And during his second appearance on the show on Monday, not only did Ellen surprise him with a special on HBO, but she got Shutterfly to donate $15,000 to fund it.
Watch Quincy’s amazing level of excitement as he gets the news up top.
