Who’s every really paid attention to the Muppets song, “Mah Nà Mah Nà,”?
Well, the song was originally written in 1968 by Piero Umilani, making it’s first appearance in a Swedish film that translates into “Heaven and Hell,” not on the Muppets Show.
The movie Heaven and Hell is what we consider soft porn, but the Swedish movie “Shows contraceptives for teens girls, lesbian nightclubs, wife swapping, porno movies, biker gangs, and Walpurgis Night celebrations. It also examines Sweden’s purported drug, drinking and suicide problems.”
And to top that off, the Muppets Show wasn’t the only ones to use the song either!

That’s right, in 1997, a British girl group called Vanilla did the song too except, their song was “No Way No Way.”
Let’s see if you get that song out of your head today!
