The duo who filed their lawsuit back in December against Mark Wahlberg and The Rock for their HBO series, “Ballers” have come up with a dollar amount to their suit… $200 MILLION!
The reports show that Everette Silas and Sherrie Littleton’s lawsuit claim that they met with Wahlberg and The Rock their idea for a tv series called “Off Season” in 2007.
It’s unfortunate for Silas and Littleton that the deal didn’t go anywhere too and all because their names wouldn’t show under the “Created by” section of the show.
The two are also claiming that their show Off Season and the HBO show, Ballers have too many coincidental similarities such as
- Both shows are about football players’ lives on and off the field.
- Both shows are set in Miami, Florida
- The shows are centered around African-American athletes
The spokesperson for HBO said, “We are confident the case has no merit.”
