The wide receiver for the (now) L.A. Rams Stedman Bailey has jumped back into a NFL workout training again!
This is amazing that Bailey is working out like this ever since he was shot in Nov. 2015 while sitting in a parked car with his cousin Antwan Reeves and two small children when they heard gunfire.
Bailey spoke out in January to CBS Sports saying, “At the time, my cousin looked at me and said, ‘Yo, cuz, they shot you in the head. And for a while, I couldn’t really feel any pain or anything, so I was just like, ‘Oh, man.’ When I looked down at my shirt and saw the blood dripping down my face, I felt at that pint that things were pretty real.”
Bailey has vowed since his shooting injuries that he would make it back onto the field and playing the game again.
The gym’s owner, Gary Sanchez said, ‘He’s been training with me for 2 and a half months.” Sanchez has been working him out and helping Bailey reach his goal… and when asked about the NFL future for Bailey, Sanchez said, “He is physically and mentally ready, definitely ready to go right now.”
